We come to your School For 40 years now, Youtheatre has toured to schools in Quebec! Over the years we have built up a unique expertise in creating professional theatre that is suitable for school environments (agora, gym, auditorium) yet still maintain high artistic standards.  Our plays also focus on challenging subjects which prompt a lively discussion amongst the students. After each performance there is a Q&A period where the actors and a professional from your school ask the students to think about and comment on what they have just seen. To help with the preparation and follow-up of our plays, we also provide a study guide. Advantages of a school performance: The cost per student is lower. You come to the Theatre Every year, Youtheatre presents its plays at Théâtre Calixa-Lavallée, a 120 seat venue located in the heart of Parc Lafontaine in Montreal.  Two performances per day are given during the run of the play. As with our school performances, a Q&A period follows each performance. With fewer students in the audience, there is an opportunity to delve deeper into the play's content. In the theatre our plays reach their full artistic potential, incorporating more elaborate set, lighting and sound elements. Advantages of a theatre performance: The production standards are brought to a higher level. The students experience a live theatre performance in a professional venue.
