BEAUTY asks audiences to reflect on how we relate to our natural and fabricated landscapes. Are humans a part of nature?

BEAUTY weaves live video projection, object manipulation and shadow puppetry through three short stories exploring ecological themes. With original music by Montreal pop group, Esmerine, the production follows two young friends as they navigate the grey world of a garbage dump. Scavenging and sorting, Cap and Tuque are satisfied in their daily routine until they come across a mysterious red barrel. Upon opening the barrel they discover the secret to creating a better, cleaner and greener world.
